Sometimes the wearer can use their own building/making skill to engineer their own attachment. But we are also happy to provide hand made, top quality straps for securing and fixing armor and other parts onto the body. This listing offers these via co-ship (select local pickup and we'll send it along with something else that we have not yet shipped to you) or send as a stand alone (select a paid postage type) Model Options: (these will grow as demand merits) Optional shoulder straps: This is a Pair (2) indexed straps of high quality top grain leather upon which can be mounted medieval pauldron or any other shoulder based costume by way of para-cord or rivets. This strap is then attached to a breastplate/backplate or similar armor or garment. When we say "indexed" that means that the holes are already punched in the leather in the way that we wish you to use it to create a tension/suspension mounting by squeezing the wings of the pauldron between your knees as you connect it to the strap. Multi adjustable buckle straps: This is a Pair (2) of perforated straps made of top grain Latigo leather. They can be used in a wide variety of armor mounting applications, such as for holding down shoulder lames, attaching arms, legs or any manner of armor attachment needed. The leather is particularly well suited to this use as it is quite weather resistant and will remain supple and strong despite repeated exposure to moisture. These straps are served up as a collar style but can easily be separated into strap side and buckle side as the use may dictate. If it is preferable DVA will be happy to make them in buckle and strap side, just ask. Belt Strap: This is a SINGLE (1) strap of your choice of latigo or bridle leather (varies by color choice). It is used for creating any number of possible functions and is sold in a full 40" length section by 1.5" wide. Great material, long lasting. Utility Strap: This is a pair of latigo leather (brown) section of leather, unpunched. It is used for creating any number of functions and is sold in a pair of full 22" length section by 1.25" wide. Great material, long lasting.A note on handling time: We generally ship in just a few days. However, there are periods in the armor cycle when we are at weeklong events or getting mobbed that it may take longer. We guarantee that your armor will be shipped in the time-line set in the auction if not sooner.
