Description: An absolute rarity. I found only 3 held in university or public libraries.1935. In hardcover, with dust jacket. The dust jacket is present but torn and two pieces are present but unattached. The portion torn is from the front board and inside flap. Internally clean and unmarked except for an inscription on ffep. Illustrations still bright. Pages not penciled or color/crayon marked; pages show a bit of age tanning. Board edges show wear, corners are bumped as are head/heel of spine. Wear and some chipping to head/heel of spine. As to dust jacket, soiled with frayed edges, a tear to rear, a chip missing from head of spine, chip missing near front lower spine. The first photo shows the front board with dj not in place; second photo shows rear board with dj; third photo shows separated front of dj.
