Alcohol works well for this. Step 2. Shake the touch up paint for at least 30 seconds after the mixing ball has released. Step 3. Apply the paint in thin layers building up the repair until you're satisfied with the repair. Wait until the paint has fully dried before applying the next layer. Multiple thin layers work better and dry faster than trying to knock it out in one thick layer. Step 4. Apply clear coat. Most repairs will be fine with one layer. Please note : Although we achieve a 99%+ color match, other factors can affect a color matching perfectly.
