Description: TP-LINK WDR3600 600Mbps Gigabit Dual-Band Router 802.11a/b/g/n. These routers were designed without heaksinks; I installed aluminum heatsinks on the motherboard chips to improve stability. In addition, I replaced the OEM firmware with DD-WRT (Build v3.0-45229) which makes the router more flexible. I used this router for several years in my home network as a wireless access point, and the for last few months I have been using it as a wireless bridge for a smart TV in a remote location in my house until I recently replaced it. In both use cases the device worked flawlessly, thanks to the DD-WRT firmware. It's an older router but super useful with the expanded capabilities of DD-WRT. However, I can re-install the OEM firmware on the router before I ship it if the winning bidder prefers it. Thanks for looking!
