Description: This is a used, Terice remote bulb thermometer that was made in Detroit, Michigan USA. The bulb and mounting parts are brass and the gauge itself is stainless steel. I have not unwrapped the coiled cable, but I estimate it is 5 feet long. The serial number on the gauge is smudged, and it looks to me like 52–2488. But I can’t be sure about the 2488. I checked the calibration of the gauge with a bulb thermometer sitting next to it for about 15 minutes. The bulb thermometer read about 70.5, if I can split hairs. And the Therice dial the thermometer (in the vertical position ) read about 73. That’s within normal tolerance for gauges like this. That difference works out to about 3 1/2%.
