Triumph Tiger Cub Speedometer James Comet Cadet Captain Commodore Smiths 1664TPM

Description: Please note that I am away for a week so there will be a delay in posting speedometers...... no other items are affected. Fully restored genuine/original Smiths 2 1/2" 80 mph SN 3153/17 speedo. The instrument has been stripped, all mechanical parts have been cleaned/inspected and any worn/damaged parts replaced where necessary. The casing has been blasted/painted and the bezel, glass and seals have all been replaced with new items. The speedo has also been bench tested and recalibrated (including remagnetizing the magnet as appropriate) so I can confirm it works correctly. All in excellent condition. To fit a 60 mm hole, outside diameter of bezel is 65 mm. Note that the odometer was reset but can be set to a specific mileage if required (please send me a message after payment has been made...... and before I crimp the bezel on!) The Smiths part number on the face is SN 3153/17 followed by 1664. The important number to note is the 1664 as this (turns per mile) relates to the calibration and internal gearing of the speedometer and needs to be correct for your motorcycle.
