Description: Tuck's Postcard - Wide Wide World Oilette Series - Groningen Canal Holland F186 You are bidding on a vintage postcard depicting an oil painting of a landscape. Postcard was printed by Raphael Tuck & Sons, as part of the "wide wide world" Oilette series. The series started in 1905 and continued for a number of years. This postcard is circa 1909. Tuck's lost all their original artwork in 1940, and permanently stopped printing in 1960. Card is pre-owned but was never posted. Size is approximately 3.5x5.5 (standard size) and is shipped inside a ziplock bag and reinforced with cardboard. Photos #1 and #2 show the card before it was packed, and photo #3 shows the card in packaging displaying our reference number so that we can locate this card when it sells.
