These are great for training with or walking, jogging, boxing, or MMA work. The plastic end caps unscrew so you can change these out for heavier weights when you like. The dumbbells themselves weigh 1 pound each and the end caps add only two tenths of an ounce on each end, so they really just serve to secure the grips together on each end. Nice set to have.
