Back: Very decorative design of the period with 50 centered in green ink (green back). Color ink of this period is rare as it was very expensive to print. Approx. size 4" x 1.75". This note was hand cut from large sheet of different denomination notes. These notes are rarely offered for sale. The complete sheet (only a handful are known) has a large depiction of SANTA CLAUSE IN BLACK AND RED INK ON THE FRONT. This note is from 1872 by C. L.
