Binding has a few transverse stress lines that detract from an otherwise gorgeous copy. Back cover just as clean and free of defects. Interior pages are complete, clean, and bright. My estimate of the condition is VERY FINE- (7.5). Uncanny X-Men #169 Newsstand Ed.: Typical comic book in VF/NM condition. Bright, clean cover features sharp corners and straight page edges, free of any type of spine bends, chips, stains, or tears. Back cover just as high quality. Interior pages are similarly complete, clean, and bright. A little bit of an over-cover (not spine roll) has the right edge overhanging the interior pages. A few almost insignificant stress lines can be suggested on the spine. My estimate of the condition is VERY FINE (8.0). Uncanny X-Men #170 Newsstand Ed.: Otherwise pretty example spoiled by liquid spill or stain on left side. I tried to get a close-up photo but it doesn't come across well. Interior pages not affected by whatever it was. Solid reading copy for true fans. My estimate of the condition is VERY GOOD (4.0). Uncanny X-Men #171 Newsstand Ed.: Another excellent copy spoiled by some sort of liquid stain. This time on the lower-right. What dummkopf put a drink on top of a friggin' comic book?
