The cloth is worn at the top and base of the spine, and the corners are bumped and worn. There are some splits in the cloth along the edges of the spine. Otherwise, the spine is firm, the pages tight, with the book being in Very Good condition, for its weight and age. We have 65 or so of these volumes on the United States Geological Survey, and are in the process of listing (or already have) all of the books. Free U. S. Media S&H.
