On the back, a paragraph describes his "Battles, engagements, skirmishes, expeditions." Charles C. Lutze Requests Transportation to U.S. via Suez Canal Document. It is dated 1901. Measures approximately 7 7/8" x 10 3/8". 2 Pages. U.S. Army Honorable Discharge Document, Expiration Term of Service from 1903. Measures approximately 8 7/8" x 11". 1 Page (front/back).Also included is a Spanish-American War Veteran card for Charles C. Lutze. The year printed on the card along the bottom is 1951. Measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".Documents are in antique condition and fragile. All papers are folded. The 1901 request has heavy tearing along the folds. There may be a section of that document missing. The 1903 discharge document has a heavy stain on the reverse side. Documents have tearing at the edges, tearing at the folds, stains, creasing, discoloration and marks from handling and storage.
