Description: This is my new reproduction of the US Army blue wool shirt, Model of 1875, which was widely issued and worn during the Indian campaigns of the late 1870's. In 1875 the Quartermaster Department issued a run of shirts made from surplus Civil War wool coat fabric that was considered substandard for use on outer garments. Shirt has authentic paper-backed metal buttons. Shirt fabric is wool flannel (the same fabric used for my 1872 pleated blouse) that is extremely comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and conditions. These shirts are cut roomy as called for in the original Quartermaster specifications. As always, I guarantee satisfaction. You can return the shirt for exchange or refund if it is in unused condition.
