Description: USMC KA-BAR Fighting Knife. I am told it is 5th Generation with a medium gray parkerized finish with a round peen pommel. This belonged to my father. We was in the USMC in the South Pacific during WWII. He carved his initials on the back of the sheath HEA. which are the same as mine. The snap on the leather strap is broken. It says USMC on one side of the blade and KA-BAR Olean NY on the other. On the top of the sheath is stamped USMC Boyt 43.
