They have a black chrome finish and are precision photo etched and then white filled for easy readability. The black chrome with white markings creates a “zero-glare” ruler that is easy to read in low and bright light conditions.They are made from the finest steel available and are hardened and tempered. The metric graduations shows mm and .5mm on both sides. Rules are 1.020” wide and .036” thick. Both long edges are ground flat and straight.
