Description: Here I have a USA Guild JF-30 12 12 String Acoustic Electric GuitarI buy, repair and resell musical instruments. I generally receive shipping damaged guitars from the factory or a distributor. I also receive store returns or open box items.This vintage Guild came to my shop with some finish cracking on the top below the bridge. There appears to be an old attempt to repair these. The cracks are finish cracks only and do not go through the wood. The end of the fretboard where it connects to the top of the guitar has pushed down causing a crack at the sound hole. You can see that in the photo. This causes the action to be a touch high from the 14th fret onward. You can also see a finish crack at the back of the nut in a photo. For all these cracks, nothing moves and it is finish only. The guitar plays very well and sounds even better. I added Fishman electronics which sound very good through my Fender amp.
