I put a 7 speed on it and there was still room, looked like enough for an 8 speed. You can use a spacer if you wanted to go 7 speed.The freehub length is approx. 35mm long.Has threads on left side for tandem expandable drum brake.I cleaned out the basement of a bike shop closure, probably three pick up loads, am listing more as time allows and stuff sells.
