Description: Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 A most unusual native made wooden trinket box with lift-up lid 4.25" (11cms) long, 3" (7cms) wide and 1.75" (4.5cms) deep. The carcass is made from a lighter sapele-like wood which has been painstakingly overlain with hooped rectangles of a much darker brown wood with yellow inclusions. I suspect this may be coconut but its been really expertly put together. Difficult to say how old it is possibly 1980's as we've had it for many years but have never used it. We're moving again soon and are downsizing so it has to go. Very unusual item.
