I would like to send my good wishes to all of you and hope that you stay safe and well. This Victorian Christmas card dates, I think, to the late 1800s. It is a die-cut card in the shape of a cross and has an image of white doves and foliage by Helena Maguire - light initials just below foliage. The publisher is not credited. The card measures 11.1cm x 11.1cm at the widest points and is a single layer. No envelope. The card is in a good condition. Came loose to me but has been in an album in the past - light waviness and some light glue and paper residue on reverse. General edge and corner rubs, very small, light crease at one bottom corner, the odd other tiny corner crease, tiny bit of surface paper lifting at one top corner, tiny ink mark at one sloping edge of card, a little very light grubbiness and the odd tiny mark and dent to background, a little very light grubbiness / browning, and some tiny marks and flecks on reverse, the odd tiny bump at edges. Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too. Please note that because of packaging laws in Germany and France requiring businesses to pay a subscription, I do not currently send items to these countries. If you are based in Germany or France please do not purchase unless you have an address outside those countries to which the item can be sent. Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. I always refund any excess postage charges.
