It is wound from the natural movement of your wrist during the normal course of your daily activities or can be wound manually by twisting of the crown apx 25-30 times. There's just something very sexy & sleek about having an automatic with it's see-through exhibition caseback allowing you to view it's intricate internals as it goes about it's duty of precision timekeeping. This amazing timepiece is apx 15 years young yet only worn on a few special rare occasions during this time frame and remains in overall excellent shape for it's age. Close examination reveals a beautiful mark free sapphire crystal. Virtually mark free bezel and case. In fact, the watch presents so well on the wrist it could easily pass for new. Caseback looks excellent with no observed flaws. Even the OEM bracelet looks close to new with some micro hairlines to two of the links and are difficult to find. Review pic's under full magnification to judge condition for yourself. As noted above also included is a brand new, genuine Wenger black sharkskin over leather strap which is not specifically designed for the Officers watch but does still fit nicely and has a good look to it when installed. With that said in the interest of full disclosure, this is still one awesome looking piece and definitely one you would want on your wrist. it's a barely used watch. Just wear it and enjoy it. This watch is keeping very good time for an automatic (slightly on the fast side which is what you want) and well within factory accepted tolerances for a watch in this age range. As with any automatic, the timekeeping accuracy will never be as accurate as a quartz battery operated watch and occasionally they do need to be serviced. Having said all that, no warranties are made, expressed or implied as to this watches timekeeping accuracy. Some specifics: Watch measures just o ver 1 9/16" or 40mm across case excluding crown, crown guards, pushers & lugs. Width between the lugs is 20mm. Bracelet is currently sized for a smaller, apx 6 3/4" wrist circumference. NO add'l links are included so please bear this in mind prior to placing a bid/offer.
