This knife would make an important addition to any collection. The inverted/upside down 'BUCK U.S.A.' stamp on the ricasso was used from 1967 to 1972. This is the Buck model 120--a common private purchase fighting knife carried in Vietnam. This knife model is covered on page 130 of Mike Silvey's book Knives of the United States Military in Vietnam. CONDITION: This vintage Buck Vietnam private purchase fighting knife is in excellent carried condition. There is staining on the blade, and on the alumunium guard and pommel. On the sheath the bottom of the leather belt loop is torn. There is also a tear at the very top of the sheath flap. ***International Customers: Shipping can seem high on certain items, because tracking and insurance (required for higher cost items) is expensive when shipping internationally.
