Description: This is a very simply made, but elaborately dressed, doll from my late mother’s collection. The head appears to be a kind of soft faced plastic, and the body is fabric. There are no detailed hands or feet, but the lady’s brown felt boot is missing from her left foot. The doll has the look of some dolls my mother purchased at Pollock’s Toy Museum, London, in the late 1960s, but my mother did not label this one.
