Description: My grandfather had a radio collection and this was one of his radios… If you look at the pictures of the cabinet, it is in nice condition, but it’s not perfect. It has a few little.dings that I show in the pictures. But overall, it’s a very pretty radio in decent visual condition. Now… Let’s talk about the chassis and all that electronic stuff… I am not an expert at radios at all, so you have to rely on what you see in the photographs and be ready to restore this radio no matter what it needs. Because I know nothing about the inside of this radio. It doesn’t have any tubes. It’s gigantically heavy at 42 pounds… It’s a beast. Take a look at the inside of the radio, so you could determine if this is something that you could restore or not because please… This thing is going to take me forever to pack it correctly and pad everything and make sure that the knobs are safe which I have a great game plan to protect the knobs. I’m using rigid Styrofoam and I’m shrinkwrapping the radio so it won’t move inside the rigid Styrofoam and nothing is going near those knobs. That’s the plan. also nothing will go near the back of the radio or the sides. And I have this Styrofoam ready and it’s sturdy and strong. It was a good plan that worked already and another radio that I sold arrived safely doing this. So I’m ready to pack this with great care. it’s super heavy like I said and big so be prepared for the shipping cost to be accurate because it’s Wade and I know the size so I’m adding only 3 pounds to the actual size of the radio and it most likely will take more than 3 pounds of packing material and box, but that’s OK. But please be sure this is for you because I want you happy… I don’t want you disappointed at all. You should be able to restore in order to buy this because really I don’t know anything. And this was my grandfather radio. so make sure you look at the pictures and if you have any questions, please ask. I have this radio available to look at if I missed something in the pictures. And like I said about the cabinet wood … It’s not perfect but it is very decent. It’s a pretty looking radio and it’s not totally beat up or anything like that. It’s definitely respectable and something that looks and presents itself nicely. So bottom line is as is as found for parts or restoration only, exactly as pictured exactly as described. Make sure you look at every single picture. If I’m pointing to something make sure you look at that. It’s all pre-weighed so I’m able to ship it accurately.… Any questions or comments feel free to reach out. So that’s everything I could think of… Other than saying thanks for checking it out. Keep in mind how big and heavy it is when you see the shipping cost. It’s most likely going FedEx because they are normally cheaper than anybody else with something this big and heavy so I’m doing my best for you. Thanks, John.
