Description: Lovely handmade silk wedding dress in very good condition for the type of fabric and age. The dress comes in the box it was discovered in (vintage shirt box) with a sticky note attached that reads "Marion's Wedding Dress and Veil- 1927." The veil is made of delicate netting, possibly silk tulle. I haven't attempted to untangle it out of fear of ruining it. The veil has decorative flowers, seeds and lace trim. The dress doesn't have any holes, tears or shattering. There is a small stain on the back stains around the armholes. The dress has been aired out but not professionally cleaned. There are panniers or side hoops on the interior sides side tied with a ribbon. The dress also has a silk panel that was pinned to cover the décolletage. Side snap closure (all intact) and hook and eye clasp at the waistline. Measurements equate to a small or around a size 6. Measurements (lying flat): Underarm to underarm 18"Waist 15"Length 44"
