Description: Vintage 1940s Alfred Philippe Gold Sterling Silver Crown Trifari Bell Tulip Flower Pin Brooch 4" This was a predecessor of a slightly later, smaller and simpler version of the very similar design (upright-tulip shape flowers), same “STERLING” mark and same leaves shape, etc. but was also marked with the Crown Trifari mark. You can see samples of that for sale on a few places on the net. This beauty has red and green rhinestones. This absolutely gorgeous, vintage brooch measures 4” x 2-1/4” and is signed/hallmarked “STERLING" in the back. It could have a crown Trifari hallmark as well but the gold vermeil worn off quite a bit so it is possible that that mark worn off as well as I could not find it. As you can see there is wear on the vermeil and it is just as beautiful as is. Other than that I just think it is one of the most extraordinary example of its kind.
