I can also send it many other ways, please ask for a quote. 1948 Hallicrafters model 505, 7" table top TV in mahogany veneer cabinet. This beautiful cabinet was designed by Raymond Loewy, see scanned pics below. Cosmetics of the wood cabinet are excellent with only a few scratches here and there. All 24 knobs are still there and in nice condition. The front picture tube safety/clear plastic face has some fine scratches that may or may not polish out. The speaker cone is in excellent condition. The vented, Masonite back and AC cord are long gone. Be sure to see all the photos below including close-up shots. The chassis was partially recapped by someone a while ago and has not been tested by me. Notice the small amount of surface rust and age related scratches and patina. I did not test any of tubes but did test the RCA 7JP4 picture tube. Sencore CR70 Test: H-K Shorts - Good, G1 Shorts - Good, Cutoff - Good, Emission - Good, Life Test - Good. There are no scratches on the face. I am selling this TV and all its parts as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns for any reason. This 70+ year old TV must be looked over, safety checked and repaired/restored by a qualified technician before use. TV measures 13 3/8” tall, 20 3/4” wide, 17 3/8” deep and weighs 34 lb. Box will measure 18” tall, 25” wide, and 22” deep and weigh 44 lb. when packed. Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost $30 and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost $95.00.
