Vintage 1940s Lemania Pilot Wristwatch SERVICED Runs Great S27 Ref 192H

Description: WWII vintage Lemania men's watch. Roughly 31.90 mm in diameter without crown. Crown is not origional, but roughly matches the case and style of the time. Watch has a solid stainless case and has been recently serviced. It is running well. New mainspring provides a roughly 40 hour reserve. Watch is keeping time to within about 1-2 minutes per day. Believed to be model S27. When servicing I completely disassembled prior to cleaning in a 4 liquid automatic cleaner (L&R - 2 wash, 2 rinse cycles). Properly lubricated with Mobius oils & greases. Mainspring was replaced with a modern unbreakable spring. Crystal was replaced. Vintage (lead) waterproofing gasket for the screw back was left in place. [Happy to replace this with a rubber gasket it preferred. The rubber would be slightly better water protection, but I wanted to leave things vintage where possible.] Leather band is newish, but not mint. I wore the watch for a few days to give it a test run. Cosmetic issues:1) Some loss of paint due to poor handling by a previous owner, particularly around the 3 o'clock position.2) Additional wear on the dial around the numbers 10 and 5 that can best be seen in the angle shots.3) Some general corrosion on the dial around the numbers 1-3 (probably due to some water ingress at some point in the past).4) Case has some scratching. I chose not to polish this in order to maintain the vintage appearance. This watch is:-A cool vintage timepiece that keeps decent time for a vintage mechanical watch.-Recently serviced (should be good for 5 years). This watch is not:-Waterproof-In perfect condition-As accurate as a quartz watch. About me:I'm an engineer by profession. I have been fixing watches since the late 1980s.
