Vintage 1940's Motorola 7VT5R, Red 7" Portable TV

Description: International Bidders are welcome to participate, I am offering eBay’s Global shipping on this listing. Vintage 1949 Motorola 7VT5R, Red 7" Portable TV. Cosmetics are good overall with some small scratches and small stains/dirt here and there. The antenna and stand that stowed in the lid are missing and the leather hold downs are gone. There are many scratches on the clear plastic face over the CRT face that may or may not polish off. This set has the correct original knobs. Be sure to see all the photos below including close-up shots. The chassis was completely recapped by someone at one time and a quick test shows it lights up the picture tube and sound is heard through the speaker right now. I did not test any of tubes but did test the Philco 7JP4 picture tube. Sencore CR70 Test: H-K Shorts - Good, G1 Shorts -Good, Cutoff - Good, Emissions - Good and the Life Test is just Good with a slow fade. Lights a medium bright at the moment. There are no scratches on the face. I am selling this TV and all its parts as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns for any reason. This TV must be checked over, repaired and made safe by a qualified technician before use. TV measures 10 1/2” tall, 17 1/4” wide, 20 12” deep and weighs 28 lb. Box will measure 15” tall, 22” wide, and 26” deep and weigh 35 lb. when packed. Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost $40 and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost $100.00.
