Description: This vintage Remington "Noiseless" model Seven manual typewriter (serial #H119586) comes in excellent cosmetic condition, with minimal finish wear and very light soiling from previous use and storage (see pictures). The unit is in solid working condition, with good action on all the keys and carriage movements. The unit has a freshly opened (old stock) ribbon installed (additional ribbons available on eBay and elsewhere for around $10). The unit dates to 1947. It has the distinctive Remington body style, with a matte black finish, plated accents, and molded round black keys marked with white letters. It features a 10-pitch (Pica) type size. This is not a machine for those looking for loud "clickety clack" operation. While not truly absolutely noiseless, it is a very quiet machine (including the margin bell). The typewriter comes with the original case in overall good condition (dulling/oxidation on hardware (hinges, etc), and some scuffs and soiling).I have a lot of great vintage items available, and would gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases.
