Description: Well, this is a humorous read. "Since this book was founded, hundreds of thousands upon thousands of new brides, like yourself, have been presented with their copies of Home Makers Guide, originally known as Cupid's Book and have found in it some of the answers to the often perplexing and all important job of home making." Copied right from the book. Now besides being a run-on sentence, you can see that the content is from another era. I printed the table of contents for you. Honestly, I just read through sections of this and was very entertained. Condition: binding is tight. Many pages have yellowing from the ages on them and some have a dog ear. Back cover is unglued (see the photo), but still attached to the book. You can see the small tear at the bottom of the spine on front and back in the photos. You won't find any microwave recipes, calorie counts, etc. but you can consult the amortization table for paying off your $16,000 mortgage over 20 years. Shipping with Media Mail I will combine shipping for multiple purchases. You will need to contact me before purchase as most of my Buy It Now listings require immediate payment. I will remove the requirement so that you can then wait for an invoice from me with shipping cost adjusted for your total order. For multiple purchases, use the shopping cart to group your purchases and wait for an invoice from me. I do not accept returns or give refunds so please ask questions before you bid. I will leave feedback after I know the item has arrived at its destination. I will ship only to your confirmed address. Thank you for shopping with me.
