Description: Here is an early vintage 1953 Bulova Watertite Selfwinding mens gold filled and stainless steel back cover case watch in running condition. The watch is running and keeping good time to about 1 minute per day with no adjustment but tends to "miss" when winding - it will need repair before use. The gold filled bezel shows some scratch wear and plate loss on the lug and case edges. The original dial is clear and shows some marks. The crystal also has some scratch wear but is still clear. The watch is 34mm in width including the winding crown and 40mm from lug to lug.
