Description: Up for bid is an interesting Holt Howard piece. It is a cat who's tongue is a measuring tape, and the pillow that the cat is resting on is a lidded box that can be for pins, other sewing accessories or other trinkets. The tape pulls out to 35-6". Great for the Holt Howard collector or a sewing enthusiast. The cat stands ~3" and the box is 3 1/2" long. Marked on the bottom. Very good used condition. No chips or cracks. Crazing throughout. Small flea bite on one ear (see picture 12). as with most H_H, there are clay pimples and divets under the glaze, and because these are hand painted, you'll usually find little paint drips on the surfaceReally, this piece is pretty spectacular.
