Vintage 1960's 9ct solid gold Smiths Imperial Watch 19 Jewels

Description: This is a lovely watch and in excellent condition for its age. 1960s vintage is a guess on my part and the watch could be 1950s. There are no scratches on the glass and the rest of it is pretty scratch free too. A 9ct gold "Aquatite" case by Dennison contains a fantastic gold filled movement. This watch was a jewel in Smiths crown. The stainless steel strap is overlaid with 12ct gold, and is worn in places but perfectly serviceable. Everything about the watch is original apart from the glass which has been replaced. Smiths moved out of London to Cheltenham and also Wales during the second world war. This watch is from Cheltenham and assayed by the Birmingham assay office. Please note I do not accept offers - all prices are a fair reflection of the "value" of the watch.
