Description: This vintage Australian Aboriginal boomerang has been beautifully hand carved and is a unique piece of art. Unfortunately, the ownership history of this piece is not available. Information from an Australian collector is that similar boomerangs were made by the Aboriginal people in the Nullaboor region, between Perth and Adelaide in the 1960's, and are valued over $100 US. This boomerang would make a wonderful addition to any collection of Australian cultural artifacts or as a decorative piece in any home. The boomerang is 2 feet (60 cm) across and 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) at the widest point in the middle. Please take a careful look at the photos as they are part of the description, and show the carving work.
