Vintage 1966 Buescher 400 Alto Saxophone

Description: This Buescher 400 alto sax was made in about 1966 according to its serial number (#421xxx). We believe the lacquer is original. It has considerable scratches and lacquer wear on the body but no signs of significant previous damage or repair. The neck has been bent down a bit at some point and the octave key post foot has been resoldered (see pics). About 2/3rds of the snaps for the snap in pads are still present and the pads are in average condition. The Norton screw-in style springs are still present. All keys work freely. This horn plays very well but could benefit from a complete repad to be in top playing condition. The case is a Conn case in good condition, with only a bit of damage to the plastic on two corners. Both the interior and exterior of the case look good.
