Description: Titled, "The Fitness Challenge . . . . in the Later Years," here's a 28 page plus cover booklet printed by the U. S. Government Printing Office in 1968. It was produced for the U. S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, Social and Rehabilitation Service, Administration on Aging. In addition to an instruction book, it is a workbook too with spaces to record and score progress of one's fitness program. Inside the front cover is a message from President Lyndon Johnson on making the most of your body as one ages. It sold for 30¢ at the time. It is full of fitness information, plans, and nice, stylized illustrations. It has one photo inside the back cover of a group of people walking along a muddy path next to a road. It is printed in red and blue. I believe it is lithographic printing. It measures 10-1/4 by 7-3/4 inches. See lots of other vintage and antique items at my other listings. My specialties include, printing and design collectibles, vintage packaging, coins, tools, campaign buttons, 78 rpm records, LP records, books, postcards, lots of others. Thanks for your consideration.
