Description: A large, original vintage 1970 Black Panther Party broadside calling for a Revolutionary People's Constitutional Convention. The first page is a letter from Eldridge Cleaver calling for the Convention, immediately below a striking Emory Douglas image. Inside is a formal Message to America, delivered on the 107th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. On the back is a statement "Towards a New Constitution" by Huey Newton with an image of Newton and his shotgun. Four pages, each 11.5" x 16.5". Good condition with minor tanning. No tears. Edges are in very good shape. Displays really well and suitable for framing. An important piece of Black American history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed for protection. I always combine shipping. Please see the Civil Rights section and the rest of my store for more museum-quality historical artifacts.
