Description: This mug was purchased by me during our stay at the historic Pioneer Inn on our honeymoon in 1978. It is made by the Hall China Company in the USA. The 579 stamp on the bottom is the mark that Hall uses to indicate that their product was made in the USA. The mug has never been used. It was just a display piece and souvenir of the places we've been. We are in the process of downsizing our lives so as not to leave it to our children or grandchildren. And this mug has become part of that process. I've done exhaustive research trying to find the value of this particular mug but come up empty handed every time. The listing price is high for a reason. The Pioneer Inn, as you are no doubt aware, was destroyed in the fire in Lahaina last year. This may be one of the last remaining old school mugs as they switched over to a more modern mug sometime in the 80s. It may be a rarity and by listing it as such, I will probably get an answer. If not, a lower asking price will come about. Thank you for looking.
