Description: Serial number on headstock shows this to be a 79 model. According to their website, in 1979 these were made in Japan. Body and neck are very nice, as you can see in the pictures. Someone did very lightly etch 2 initials and their last name into the heel of the neck just below the neck plate. It isn't deep, doesn't effect playing and did not cause any flaking or other damage. The case is old, but not original, and not a perfect fit. Still opens and latches and protects it well. Not sure if the volume and tone knobs are original either.. They are too clean and white, and are quite possibly replacements, but work well, as do all the electronics. I believe everything else to be original and in good working order. The frets are great and the neck is straight. Guitar plays wonderfully, very smooth and easy. Body and finish are very nice as you can judge from the photographs.
