Description: Vintage 1980's Plasti Marx WWII US GI American Soldiers Lot of 6 Plastic 6" I bought these six WWII American G.I. figures back in the 80's when I worked at KB Toys. I believe it was 1987 specifically, I can tell by the price tags. They are re-strikes of the famous Marx figures from the 60's. They still have the detail and quality of Louis Marx, because they look like they were made from the original molds. The Russian soldiers have a mark on the bottom of their stands that say PLASTIMARX Mexico, and a number 1 - 6, which is the number of the figure. It's weird that the mark is not on the American soldiers base. The issue with these Marx figures was that they were made out of a more brittle plastic than the originals, which caused them to have some breakage during storage. I've listed what's wrong with each figure, and I tried to include the pieces to fix them. I think some 3D printing and some epoxy from some creative person could fix them right up. 1. Grenade throwing guy: His tommy gun's tip and butt are broken off, both included for repair. 2. Guy butt stroking with his rifle: Nothing wrong with this guy, awesome.3. Guy running with a carbine: One chin strap is broken off, included for repair. 4. Guy standing and shooting: Front of gun broke off, but it is included for repair.5. Guy running motioning follow me: Tip of his tommy gun is broken off, it is missing. 6. Guy marching with his rifle: The tip of his rifle is broken off, it is missing. Great figure at a great price. Thanks for looking.
