Description: Here is a wonderful copy of Sir Thomas Mallory’s classic edited version of King Arthur And His Knights Of The Roundtable , The Boy’s King Arthur. This is a first edition first printing thus as shown on the copyright page published in 1989. This edition is illustrated with beautiful full page full color artwork by the brilliant N.C. Wyeth. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. There is a gift inscription from a Christmas thirty-three years ago on the illustrated first free endpaper as shown. The blue cloth boards are clean but not immaculate also as shown in the photos provided. The gold gilt lettering on the front board and spine is bright and beautiful as the posted images indicate. There is some wear to both spine ends and much lighter wear to the bottom corners all of which is documented. All fourteen color illustrations are present and securely attached to the binding and there is also the color frontispiece as well. The dust jacket has been price clipped as shown. There is general wear to the edges and spine ends as this book was loved and read many times and will be again. The remaining photographs will demonstrate this.
