Description: For your consideration is this Vintage Mid-Century 3 Arm Patterned Glass Hanging Light Fixture with Frosted Grape Globes. There is no manufacturer mark or sticker, but the pattern of the fixture and specifically the frosted grape globes leads me to a 98% probability that this is a John C. Virden fixture, but I cannot swear to this, obviously. This is a smaller and lighter fixture for those where size does matter, it only weighs about 3 pounds with the bulbs.The length, as shown, is about 18.5" but can be shortened to about 13.5". The chain assembly and wiring can easily be extended to any overall length with the purchase of longer chain and wire, the reconfiguring is very easy and commonly done by electricians and handy people. It is a bit difficult to measure the true width of the piece, having 3 arms, but I believe it is about 16" across at the widest point(s). The fixture appears to be made of Aluminum with a bright and shiny golden brass finish. Due to its age and usage there is some fading and minor light scratches, but the finish is truly in very good condition. There is a very small dent in the canopy (see pictures #16, 17 and 18) but this can easily be worked out with minimal effort, the canopy is thing gauge aluminum. The canopy is about 5.5" across as well. In the center of the fixture is a real glass decorative piece with a patterned surface, there is no damage to this glass. The globes are clear glass with a painted frosted finish, there is a basic vine and grape pattern within the frosting and the tops are scalloped. The globes have no cracks chips or breaks and the frosting seems to be in fantastic condition, but there may be minor scratches if you look at it very closely. The fixture works perfectly and all mounting hardware is included. ***ALSO, I do have a second, exact same, matching fixture in basically the same overall condition and would consider selling it as well if someone was in need of a matching pair.**** Please feel free to ask any questions.Thank You!!EBR
