Description: This listing is for a genuine WW2 Military Issue Watch Band 5/8" (16mm) green canvas with a Gold Plated Buckle. Watch Band only (watch shown in photos for illustration purposes only). We are offering vintage 75 year old WWII USA MILITARY ISSUE made canvas wrist watch bands with sewed eyelets that are NOS, never sold, and in original packing. They were supplied in SILVER color buckles (steel plated) and YELLOW (gold plated over steel). The gold plated buckles are not as popular, so we have accumulated a large amount of them and are selling these at a discount. The gold plate can be buffed off with a buffing machine to leave the nickel plated steel buckle. These bands were shipped in wooden boxes with the following information: Transportation Officer, Jersey City Quartermaster Dept, Warehouse B, for Commanding Officer,American Strap Co, New York City, water repellent poplin, packed April 1, 1945. This type band fits most all of the WWII American made military issue wrist watches as well as later watches made for Korea and Viet Nam. These are 5/8-inches (16 mm) wide and are 2 piece bands. They will fit most wrists, but we do have LONG bands for larger wrists. These bands are 7 inches long (17.8 cm), but you need to add the length of your watch to get the total length to compare with your wrist size.
