Description: Vintage (5) Staffordshire Ware Myott Indian Tree England 8.5" Salad Plates #3259 This sale is for a set of five Myott Indian Tree dinner plates. Each measures 8 1/2 wide and the set is in very good to excellent condition. These plates appear to be the high-end line of the Myott Strafforshire Indian Tree plates that were manufactured. They have the embossed (floral) trim at the edge, with the green key band on the interior of the plates. No chips, nicks, cracks, or other major damage. One plate has a small 1/4" round spot of mild discoloration (11 o'clock) as well as a similar mark (small line) at 4 o'clock (same plate -- see last 2 pix for spots). A feint utensil mark on the face of some of the plates. Two plates have a small spot of crazing on the face. Back of one plate has an area of discoloration. The back of all of the plates have some larger crazing marks. One plate has a deeper utensil mark on the truck of the (brown) tree. All plates are shown. Colors and glaze are strong.
