Vintage 50s Striped Mohair Knit Wool Sweater, Women's Fluffies Muppet Sweater, L

Description: This is a FABULOUS vintage sweater. It's not without issues, but some of the issues are fixable, and some you'l just deal with to own such a unique piece! At least, that's my take... No size tag, perhaps it was hand knit? (See measurements below.) It's medium/large in today's sizing.I'm also not entirely sure of what it's made of; but I think it's wool. It's cream (bordering on yellow) light grey and dark charcoal grey stripes with different colors woven between each stripe, and an oversized Peter Pan collar. The sweater style is what used to be called "Fluffies" - a fuzzy loose-knit mohair that's super cuddly. FLAWSThis sweater does have some holes:-a few on the front (I count 5, but let's call it 7 in case I missed any! See photo 7 and 8 for the worst of them)-some on the cuff areas (3; this is where the largest hole on the whole sweater is, about 1.5" long, see photo 9, other 2 holes are seen in photo 12)-I don't see any holes on the back or sides (or if they are there, they're very small.)But the weave of the sweater is such that you could darn these petty easily yourself, or take it to a seamstress for a professional job. It also has what could either be variations in the wool or small yellowish stains. I lean towards variation in the wool since you can see they kind of weave in and out of the sweater (See photo 11, 12, 13). But I want to call it out in case they are stains.
