I have no way of knowing if the original owners were smokers, or if they wore cheap cologne--but I do my very best to inspect everything carefully. I will never offer anything for sale on eBay that I feel has an overpowering or bad smell--if I come across anything like that, it usually goes immediately into the trash. The only exception would be if the item is hard to find, one-of-a-kind, or very valuable--but I will always try to make sure any flaws are well described and explained in the description. I understand that people have allergies or may have different sensitivities to certain smells, and I have 100% no hassle, free returns for 30 days.
