Description: Hello, thank you for looking. I do not know of the specific origin of this piece. I do know that it was well-made and very carefully painted. It is made of chalk wear type material I believe. The only damage to note is pictured. It looks as though the stem of the lid at one time separated from the lid and it has been reattached with what appears to be epoxy. That will hold these together in perpetuity. If you zoom in on that section, you can see the hairline where they were rejoined. It is unable to be seen with the lid on. The finish on this piece is very nice, in a dark teal with other teal and black splatters that are very muted and understated. The gold veins highlight the piece throughout and make it very attractive. This piece is about 12 inches wide and around 15 or 16 inches tall with the lid on. All the measurements and details are in the pictures. It has a felt bottom to protect whatever surface you sit it on. I do not know who crafted this, but it is signed and dated. Please zoom in on the pictures as they are my best descriptions. What you see is exactly what you are getting. This will ship well packaged and insured. I have an excellent history of shipping, fragile things, and having them arrive in one piece. My Feedback highlights, that fact. Please ask any questions you may have before purchase. Buy with confidence as I have excellent feedback.
