Description: On offer is a pretty mixed nut tin from The National Nut Company in Oakland, CA. The packaging states that it is The Aristocrat Box. Measuring approximately 6 1/4 inches x nearly 4 3/8 inches and about 2 inches tall, the tin dates to the mid-1900s. It was made in the USA by the American Can Company. On the top are various nuts, and all around the sides are details about the types of nuts included and where they are from. The tin originally held a pound of nuts, 8 different kinds from 8 different lands. The tin is in good preowned vintage condition. There are scratches, chipped paint, and a few small dents common with tins this age.
