Vintage Alvin Sterling Silver Chateau Rose 48 Piece Flatware Set

Description Here is a 48 piece set of vintage Chateau Rose sterling silver flatware, service for eight, by Alvin Sterling. The set is in nice used condition, most pieces with a few light scratches from use and storage. All forks and spoons are marked Alvin Sterling Chateau Rose. All knives are marked Alvin Sterling Handle Stainless Blade. Included in the set; - 8 salad forks, 6-5/8" long and 291.8 grams (total for all 8) - 8 New French hollow knives, 8-7/8" long and 544.0 grams - one knife has a few scuffs and scratches on the blade (see photo) - 8 forks (luncheon), 7-1/4" long and 370.6 grams - 8 round bowl cream soup spoons, 6-1/4" long and 264.9 grams - 8 Modern hollow butter spreaders, 6-1/4" long and 337.7 grams - one spreader has a scuff and what looks like a rough spot on the tip of the blade (see photos) - 8 teaspoons, 6" long and 229.9 grams A few pieces have tiny spots of tarnish and the handles show a bit more patina. They could all use a proper cleaning and polishing. Payment We ask that all auction items be paid for within three days. Buy-It-Now means just that, and we ask that you please pay for those items right away. We will send an invoice for items with combined shipping costs. Other buyers, please let us know if you would like an invoice. Shipping We ship Monday through Friday, within one business day of receiving payment confirmation. We usually offer options for shipping methods, so please check before you pay. We will gladly combine multiple items won or purchased. We use eBay's shipping calculator and do not charge additional shipping or handling fees. The calculator is usually right on, based on the size and weight entered. However, we will pass on any shipping discounts and if we find that the actual cost to ship the package is less than what you paid, we will refund the difference. We use eBay shipping labels so you have access to your tracking number as soon as it is printed. International We welcome international bidders and will ship through eBay's International Shipping Program. Returns We will gladly accept returns within fourteen (14) days of your receipt of the item. As long as the item is returned in the same condition, with original packaging, if possible, we will issue a full refund of your purchase. You will be responsible for return shipping.
