The painting lightly signed by the artist on the front lower left-hand corner (see photos). The painting looks to be the area of Somerville, New Jersey (the area was identified in another painting I have from this estate). The artist is Mildred Van Vlack (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation. The painting is over 60+ years old. The artist's last name may have changed over time trough marriage. The painting depicts an American winter landscape with a barn and other buildings, trees, a street, a power pole and a fence (see photos). This item is painted on a fabric or canvas covered Masonite type board panel. The painting is framed in a gold painted wooden picture frame with obvious paint losses, loose paint and signs of wear (see photos). This is a nice American oil painting. The framed item in total measures about 10.3 inches high, and it is about 15.3 inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures about 7 inches high, and it is about 11.75 inches wide.
